Terms of Use

Effective September 15, 2026

These terms cover your use of bechamelcpg.com, run by Bechamel Consulting LLC, doing business as Bechamel CPG. By using the site you agree to them. Consulting engagements are governed by a separate signed agreement, not these terms.

What the site is for

The site describes our services, shares educational material about bringing CPG brands to retail, and gives you a way to reach us. Use it for those purposes and don't do anything that would break it, overload it, or interfere with anyone else using it.

Information, not advice

Everything on the site — including the Beginner's Guide to Retail, pricing frameworks, and anything we say about distributors, retailers, margins, or trade spend — is general information based on our experience. It isn't legal, financial, or tax advice, and it isn't a recommendation for your specific business. Retailer and distributor programs change constantly; verify current terms before you act on them. Advice tailored to your brand comes through a signed engagement.

Our content

The text, graphics, guides, tools, and layout of the site belong to Bechamel Consulting LLC or are used with permission. You can read, download, and print material for your own business use. Don't republish, resell, or pass it off as your own. Client and distributor names and logos shown on the site belong to their owners; their presence means we've worked together, not that they endorse Bechamel.

Free guide and email

When you request the guide, we'll email it to you. If you opt in to promotions, we'll email you occasionally about what we're doing; unsubscribe any time. Requesting the guide doesn't create a consulting relationship.

Links to other sites

We link to retailers, distributors, partners, and tools we find useful. We don't control those sites and aren't responsible for what's on them.

No warranties

The site is provided as is. We work to keep it accurate and available, but we don't promise it will be error-free, uninterrupted, or current, and we don't guarantee any result from using the information on it.

Limit on liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, Bechamel Consulting LLC and its members and contractors aren't liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages — including lost profits or lost business — arising from your use of the site or reliance on its content. Where liability can't be excluded, it's limited to $100.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Colorado, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute about the site will be handled in the state or federal courts located in Colorado.

Changes

We may update these terms from time to time. The version posted here, with its effective date, is the one that applies.
